Finance Meets Real Estate
When: March 2, 2021
Yael Tamar, combining her rich personal experience and expertise on the subject of fintech and proptech, gave a well-attended talk on “Real Estate Tokenization as a Bridge to Finance 2.0” as a guest of Stefan Tsvetkov’s podcast, Finance Meets Real Estate. Having suffered first-hand the effects of a centralized financial system in Crimea, Yael recounted the experience of having her country change hands—twice—and learning the meaning of a devalued currency. The desire to see a more decentralized financial system, DeFi, is what propelled Yael to co-found SolidBlock.

The Role of Women in Fintech

Marking International Women’s Day, the Cyprus Fintech Summit: will be holding a virtual panel session with several notable all-women speakers, discussing the role of Women in Fintech.
