SolidBlock in December: Catch us if you can!

Maybe you have one of those months every once in a while that’s just non-stop? Every month seems like that here at SolidBlock as we prepare to take off again in December. This time, we’re splitting up and heading in two different directions: New England (NYC and Boston) and the Middle East (Dubai and Abu Dhabi).

As usual, we’re doing our best to hold meetings and build partnerships wherever we go. If you’re looking for an opportunity to be part of what we’re doing – helping asset owners raise more capital while providing investors with true liquidity – check out our upcoming dates and stop by to chat.

New York City, Here We Come

We’re starting out back in NYC from December 2, 3, 5, and 6.

If you missed us while we were there for MIPIM Proptech 2019 last month and didn’t catch the amazing energy at our Fireside Chat (catch the replay here!) – Yuval Wirzberger, our co-founder and CEO, will be holding a few days of one-on-ones there in December.

Venturing to Boston

Then, Yuval is heading to Boston on December 4 for the 2019 New England Venture Summit (NEVS).

That’s where the rubber hits the road… or more precisely, where innovative new businesses (that’s us!) meet the venture capital they need to truly take off.

SolidBlock has been selected as one of 100 Top Innovators to present their businesses as part of 6 different tracks: tech, life sciences, cleantech, fintech, and seed stage. We’re totally confident that our business model will hold its own against dozens of others and truly stand out in the minds of all participants. Stay tuned for footage from the competition.

Dubai Dreaming

Meanwhile, CMO Yael Tamar is heading to Dubai from December 3-7.

She’ll be checking out the “world’s first blockchain city” firsthand. Dubai may not be the capital of the United Arab Emirates, but it comes first place in our hearts for its incredibly proactive blockchain strategy. The city has stated that it aims to start processing a wide range of municipal transactions via blockchain as soon as 2020, including visa applications, bill payments, and license renewals.

Abu Dhabi in Blockchain

Finally, Yael will be in Abu Dhabi for one day only on December 8.

In the UAE’s official capital city, blockchain has gotten almost as warm a welcome as it has in Dubai. Two use cases we’re thrilled about including the UAE’s national oil company’s use of blockchain to verify provenance throughout its supply network, and – a little closer to our hearts – Abu Dhabi recently-announced plans to put its municipal land registry on blockchain.

Got an awesome conference or blockchain-friendly destination for us to check out? We’re already planning for the coming months. Contact us if you think there’s somewhere SolidBlock absolutely has to go in 2020!
