Why Decentralized 2019 is a must for SolidBlock this year

With over 1500 attendees from 50 countries, Decentralized 2019 (Oct. 30-Nov. 1, Athens), is one of Europe’s leading blockchain and digital currency conferences.  And for good reason.

While many blockchain conferences focus on business and tech, Decentralized 2019, organized by the University of Nicosia, is a different.  Its business and technology track is similar to other conferences, dealing with every aspect of blockchain, from technical to regulatory.  But at Decentralized 2019 there’s also an academic track.

What is there to learn about blockchain?  Engineering improvements, the business, ethical, legal, and social ramifications of digital currencies, and the convergence of blockchain with emerging technologies like artificial intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), and virtual reality (VR).

And SolidBlock will be right in the middle of it all!

First, our advisor Ido Shacham (property tax lawyer and appraiser) has been selected as a featured keynote speaker at Decentralized 2019.  He’ll be talking about “Real estate tokenization: How it will affect the real estate market.”

And CMO Yael Tamar has also been chosen to join in a panel discussion, so participants throughout the conference will be hearing a lot about SolidBlock’s unique approach as well as regulatory and technological trends we’re constantly monitoring that could impact the future of digital assets.

As a team, we’re very proud to be associated with this conference.  The University of Nicosia is building a reputation as a global blockchain powerhouse.  They’ve already created the world’s first fully accredited academic degree in blockchain, the MSc in Digital Currency.  And through Decentralized, they also aim to create a network of affiliated chapters worldwide.

Wherever you find influencers and brilliant minds debating and creating the future of blockchain – you’ll find SolidBlock.  And if you’re in the area, we’d love to get together with you at Decentralized 2019.
